Using the Pomowork’s Pomodoro timer is super easy. Just follow these easy steps:

General tips

  1. Choose “Pomodoro”, “Short break”, or “Long break”. Usually after a pomodoro session you should take a short break and after three sessions a long break.
  2. Press “Start” button to start the timer and “Pause” (same button) to pause the timer.
  3. Click the “Reset” icon next to the timer to reset the timer duration
  4. The timer plays a digital notification sound by itself when the time is up.

Customizing the timer duration

To change the duration of the Pomodoro or the breaks can be done by clicking the “Settings” icon on the top right of the Pomodoro timer. This will pop up a *Settings-*window, where you can select the duration of each session. Remember to save your changes by clicking the “Update settings” button on the bottom of the Settings-window. The changes will be saved to your browsers cookies, so Pomowork remembers your preferences the next time you open Pomowork.

If you click “Cancel” or the “Close” icon on the Settings-window, your changes will not be saved. Clicking the “Reset” icon on the Pomodoro timer will not reset your duration settings!
